Cecilia Ying-chai Chan was born and raised in Hong Kong. She started creative writing as an escape from school work. She loves the sound of English and enjoys the process of writing, literally, on a page. She believes that spending time on writing something irrelevant is better than trying to work while thoughts keep bubbling out. She is currently an English major at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
