Haven Books is an English-language press that aims to put a wide range of interesting books into readers' hands. Our titles focus primarily on Hong Kong and Asian themes.

Haven Books considers unsolicited manuscripts for publication.  We look at literature and non-fiction proposals with Asian themes/relevance.

If you wish to submit a project for consideration for publication, please post or email a complete book proposal consisting of:

• Cover letter describing the work, whether the manuscript is finished, who the target audience is, information about related and/or competing titles, why you chose to submit to us, and whether you have sent the proposal to other publishers concurrently
• Table of contents
• Two or three sample chapters 
• Author's bio and/or c.v.

If sending by email, please type SUBMISSION and book type in the subject line of your email (e.g. Submission: novel)

We are unable to return any materials (please do not send original artwork, only duplicates)
